These programs
are designed to:
· Help
parents learn about their young child's development
· Provide hands-on learning that is active and fun
· Promote good nutrition and cost-effective meal
planning
· Support parents who want to help their child learn
the early reading readiness skills needed for success in
life.
· Provide necessities such as transportation and
childcare so that parents of young children can be involved
in our programs.
· Give parents of young children a chance to meet,
share, and learn from each other.
Readiness for school
involves 5 areas of development.
Children who are ready in all 5 areas have school success. Our programs
are designed with this in mind. Look for the star symbol to help you
decide on programming for your child. For an explanation of the 5
